There's still color . . .

 . . . in the south

The above were taken at my home in Alabama . . .

. . . and this one is Nashville, Tennessee.

Beautiful shots! Our color is pretty much gone. Not that we had much in the first place.

Well--here on the mountain in Crossville, Tennessee, the leaves are almost ALL down now. I've been raking and blowing leaves this week--and only have a little bit left... The yard is almost clean --and BARE....

Hugs,
Betsy

'Fall' (literally) must be working its way south... our leaves here in Seattle are about gone...

I must admit to being a little envious of your fall color. But I'll get over it. :) The 2nd shot with the barn off in the distance and dry grass on the side is very nice.

Pretty shots! Our trees are mostly bare here. The remaining leaves are brown except for some pretty Bradford Pear Maples I saw today with reddish leaves.

The photos taken from your place are really pretty. I love that old barn. Is it on your place?

Your Fall looks like our Fall; soft colors, nothing bright. Pretty and comforting.

We are just now coming into fall color. In fact, a friend and I are taking a little road trip tomorrow in search of it. I don't think it will be as brilliant as last year's but that will just make us appreciate next year's even more. I hope we find some as nice as you show us here.

Our color wasn't as impressive this year as last. This morning when I looked out back I could see that we have neighbors, something I can't see through the summer leaves.

We still have a tiny, tiny bit of color but nothing like this!

I did read your update on Husband News...still have you in my thoughts and prayers.

Most of our trees here in GA are bare. The Bradford Pear trees are still hanging on to their leaves. I always enjoy your photos.

Nice! We still have a little here..very little. But I was sure surprised to see just how many leaves were still on the trees after Hurricane Sally came and went.
